Caring together. Stronger together.
By the year 2034, adults ages 65 and older will outnumber children under the age of 18, and the share of potential caregivers is projected to continue shrinking relative to the number of older adults potentially at risk for needing long-term care.
Sixty-one percent of family caregivers work either full or part time. Working caregivers face financial risks such as lost income, reduced career opportunities and savings, and subsequently lower Social Security and retirement benefits.

Our Mission
Our goal is to empower caregivers to fulfill their roles with confidence, prioritizing self care, and ensuring the well-being of both the caregiver and their loved ones.

Our Vision
Our vision is to create a community that supports caregivers and enables them to find peace, purpose and joy on their caregiving journey.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
My name is Virginia Grant, I am the full time caregiver for my sister who suffered an anoxic brain injury about 4 years ago. I never thought I would be a caregiver but I just didn’t want her to go into a nursing home. So on May 4, 2021 my journey as a caregiver began.
My path has been filled with many challenges, obstacles, tears and victories. I have persevered through it all because I was blessed with a very strong support system. I was surrounded by people that demanded that I take care of myself first.
This concept was hard for me to understand and embrace at first. But one day a loved one said to me, “Virginia, if you go down, it all goes down.” That really penetrated my spirit and in that moment I truly understood that I must put myself first. I understood that putting myself first wasn’t selfish but necessary.
I founded Assurance because I believe caregivers deserve to take care of themselves, find peace, and fulfill their role with confidence — not at the cost of their own well-being. I know that this is hard because although there are over two million caregivers in the state of Florida alone, we often find ourselves alone and feeling isolated.
I believe that it was my support system that helped me along the way and I want Assurance to serve as a support system for the millions of caregivers that feel they are doing it alone and could use some help.
I know that we will be better once we are all connected. Please join me on my journey as a caregiver. We’re not perfect and that’s ok but we do the best that we can everyday for those that we love. Let’s wrap our arms around each other and let’s travel this trail together.
I know that if we are Caring Together, we will be Stronger Together!!!

Caregiving Made Easier, Together.
